Default Island explorer

Hi all,
Last week i went to one of island where located in Andaman sea. This island is one of early place which found N. viking. So the viking exploration was initiated.

The road on this island is narrow concrete plate.

The landscape is grass field alternate with swamp forest but i going in dry season, so most of swamp was dried already.

Nepenthes mirabilis

Drosera burmanii are common is grassfield.

Den. cruentum is native species on this island.

flower inflorescences

Nepenthes sp. We found this sp. only two plants

But we couldn't find N. viking, so we have talk with local headman about site of all Nepenthes in island included N. viking. He said he never viking before and do not know viking site. However he told me about many traveler and plant collectors asked for viking site also. It is possible to say N. vikng might be extinct from this island.
I would like to end this topic with seaview and beach life.

Bye!
