DIY Rack

Feel to share with you all my D.I.Y. custom made rack ...

Simple and easy :


Cut the pipe into the size that you want


The base of the rack. This play the most important part as it affect the stability of the rack if you do not want it shake when wind blow~~


Finally.... Done !
It have three layer for this rack.. kyou can even hang the plant as well...

HAPPY DIY....

that is simple and nice... But, can it is hard enough to take the heavy weight of water plate? or Nepenthse pots?

Yes. PVC pipes...Kind of worry about the weight also.

so far no problem for me yet as i use those 6mm pipes and the quality is better than those normal cheap 6mm. You can have those 10cm pipe if worry about the weight.

If you still worry . What i can suggest change bit of the rack structure. Triangle shape

The rack look great.What material you are going to use for the floor?Or no floors?You can use expanding foam spray to fill the empty hole in the pipe.It will make the pipe strong and wont bend easily.

yeah there are three layer and on top will add up root to avoid the rain drop to sundew. The bottom layer will be for Nep.

foam spray? is it paint ? it will be good idea

Foam spray from an aresol can is an expanding foam which cures into a lightweight and hard rigid form.I have used it to fill gaps in house walls,piping and inside hollow holes of car.Its sold in ace hardware as 'Great Stuff'.The names of other local brands available im not sure.
