I think my veitchii used to have this problem before, the growing tip blackened, the new leaf was deformed. It was because of too much water. Not sure whether it's the same problem here though.....what is the media? I see only LFS

Media used is sphg and perlite ~equal amount. Being using this since i first got it few months backs. I dont think is the wetness as last few weeks was raining heavy and it is fine. This changes suddenly and overnight

Looks like sunburn, when water droplets remain on the leaf and strong sun suddenly hits it. I think this is the most probable reason, considering recent weather is suddenly hot one moment and sunny the next...

It is sunburn. I have a couple of plants that have done that over the past week end here. We had our first couple of warm days for the year and one or two of my plants have the same thing on the leaves. Not much you can do about it now. Just need to be mindful in the future and try to provide a little more protection if possible.
