yup guys....its ibicella lutea aka devils claw aka devils snort......will keep updating the progress....sown 8 seeds.....2 germinated.........6 still sleeping...

some updates ;

hmm...out of the 3 ibicella lutea germinated, 1 died..........2 others grown up to 4 leaves......the grown up, one has flowered, a YELLOW flower never saw it blooms actually......both growth looks stunted......

the other 5 seeds are goner.....

then the second batch of seed....

Proboscidea louisianica, and P. parviflora all still sleeping........

Does the seed really have the 'claw'? How does the adult plant looks like?

so far the flowered specimen also died on me........

please google for their seeds and appearance...i like the way they describe....."They are designed to snag onto animal feet and hold on until the poor beast dies and serves as fertilizer for the next generation of Devil's Claw....." sounds gross.......
