hmmm....i was wondering if the 'hair' is the only inheritance trait from n. lowii?

hmmm....if you breed lowii hybrids wt the mindset of only having 'hairs' underneath the lid just to have the reminiscense of n. lowii.....don't you think its a bit of waste? don't you want the hybrid the inherit the wide opening of the pitcher? just my 2 cents thinking....

Just to get the under the lid hair?? No way....

The "hair" is a good indication that the N. lowii trait is strong in the hybrid. Why N. lowii is so sought after?? It's because ofr it "out of this world" upper pitchers.... You get the idea ??

Like an old saying "The force is strong in this one"....

And not to mention, almost all lowii hybrids, when they hit upper pitchers, they produce SPECTACULAR pitchers.....mark my words. Take lowii x truncata. When I first saw the lower pitchers, it looked like truncata with some more colouration and the lid hair. But once I saw the upper pitchers.......WOW *speechless*

The v x l are going to take forever to grow uppers.
I have had them 3 years.
The uppers will be GREAT!
