Carvary Carnival 31 October 2009
The Calvary Carnival is here again. The objective of the carnival is to raise funds for the Calvary Convention Centre in Bukit Jalil. The event is set on 31 October 2009. PetPitcher will be giving back 35% of the total sales to Calvary Church this year.
The purpose for us to participate in this event is to create awareness on carnivorous plants and also the forum. So, just like last year we will be educating the public and giving out fact sheets and cultivation sheets to the public on carnivorous plants. I will need to find out if members are willing to help out in this event. If there are no helpers, We shall not participate as I cannot do it alone. We need help from members to help set up the booth and mend the booth. Suppliers/nurseries and members are welcome to join in by placing your plants at the booth for sale. However, this year I am setting some conditions for suppliers and members who wants to place their plants there for sale. Members or suppliers who place their plants there will have to either help mend the booth or pay a minimal fee to put their plants there. However, I will allow exceptions to this rules for members only based on the member's situation and number of plants offered.

It's on a Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Will need assistance in transporting plants over, setting up the stall before 9am, mending the booth, answering questions and packing up when the day is over.

Hi David,is there anyone going there?Got any helpers?I'm looking forward to go there.I want to help but I'm too young?Hahas.Who cares?Anyways are you setting up a stall there or not?

Yes, Edmund did help out last year but I think he is busy this year. Have not received his offer to help this year.
