no rot means good!
u see carefully at the seed's embryo.like i,i see nothing until i look closely to the embryo,then i see a tiny green nub coming on each seed(mine 4 so far).

Just checked my seed boxes.
Mirabilis var Globosa
4 of 15 in covered coco peat(water tray) germinated. 2 of them has >2mm sprout.
1 of 15 in covered sphagnum moss(water tray) just started to germinate.

Too early to draw conclusion, but coco peat seems to be lazyman's choice: No chopping of sm, and no need to spray by using water tray. Covered sm in water tray seems too wet.

Well its only been about 3 weeks so i guess still got chance...

yea,3weeks is too early i guess.
mine also only around 8 germinated.but day by day new seed sprouted

I'm sure some will germinate, just let them be and water them sufficiently........mine has yet to germinate

Yea i looked at the seeds and they are starting to pop out
