They're found on rock.

On gravel.

On clay.

Most D. burmannii here are just about the size of 10 cent coin.

Check the media. It's a mixture of sand and clay!

This habitat is almost indentical to the habitat in Kuching.

Ha ha. At last I found my first sundew in Peninsular Malaysia!

I am so lucky to see this little dewy jewel!

Bye bye sundew territory.

Thanks for viewing. The End.

Great find and post! It's amazing how you can walk around for hours looking for something, and once you find it, it seems to be everywhere! :P

This is really a great find, Lim. I thought D. burmannii already extinct in Peninsular Malaysia. Thank you for the good news.
Those pictures are great too, you guys must have become crasy when you first saw the sundew. I have the same feeling when I, David & Jonathan went searching for wild neps last time, my heart kept on bumping when we saw the first N. ampullaria!
Those D. burmannii are so beautiful! Hope we can hear news from you guys on D. spatulata, D. indica and D. peltata in Malaysia.
