It was produced in 1995. A friend bought this for me a couple of years ago when I was down with flu and had to rest at home. You will be able to see the movements and growth of plants as the camera fast forward. Very informative and eloquent flowing commentary, as customary with sir David's other series. It is rich with startling observations offering deeper insight into the ingenuity of the engineering built into our planet's biosphere. There's a whole section on CPs in the documentary. I do see it still in VCD/DVD shops in shopping complexes in KL. I noticed Amazon.com has the book version as well. « Last Edit: Dec 26, 2006, 3:37pm by David »Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedMy Wantlist artificialive Pioneer Member / Global Moderator member is offline Joined: Dec 2006 Gender: Male Posts: 713 Location: Ayer Keroh, Malacca Re: The Private Life of Plants Documentary « Reply #1 on Dec 26, 2006, 3:37pm » waahh! never thought of watching these documentaries before.. surely ill check these CP documentaries.. Awesome stuff, didn`t realise it was produced in 1995. I also have a taiwanese CP vcd, tells about CPs, but it`s in Mandarin & quite short. Interesting though to see the CPs in the wild. « Last Edit: May 7, 2007, 6:32pm by David »Link to Post - Back to Top 203.106.226.24 |
