yes like what David had said
Growing VFT rules
- Give FULL Sun as much as possible
- Dont let the soil media to dry up, and not too wet too
- Dont try to feed it too
- Dont play with their traps
- Prepare their 'bed' when they enter dormancy. <- Important lesson to learn if you are serious in growing VFT
- Dont let the soil media to dry up, and not too wet too
---> I personnally think that it is difficult to maintain such situation, especially for me that sometime lazy or forget or no time to water my plant. So, I keep my VFT with water tray method with 1/4 of VFT pot. So far, they like it...

For dormancy, I must learn from you guys...

Thanks TS for the suggestion about the dormant VFT, I think it has gone to plant heaven, but will still keep the pot, might get resurrected! It least it has a clone still alive.

Yeah I think you are right, I might have tried to wake it up too quickly. I have a few VFTs now so can afford to try cool dormancy in the future. But yes, dry dormancy is still going to be the main target.

Well. Meaning. You can have wet media but not for a period. Don't water everyday will do.

Arvin
good luck in your dry dormancy experimental.
Me too, trying one under dry dormancy

Will update you guys
