It`s always a treat to meet folks who share similiar hobbies with us. How long have you been growing CPs ? My adelae is greenish red even tho I put almost 4 hours of sun....has yours flowered before ? The d.plaeacea is a very dainty sweet sundew. Gorgeous. The D. scorpioides 'Giant' is one of my dream sundews. D.pulchella, i`m getting the seeds soon. The drosera look like they get lotsa sun coz the colouration is reddish. I suppose they are somehow protected from rain ? coz i don`t see any peat moss splutters on the plants. just curious.... here`s what my d.adelae looks like even with lotsa sun...yours must be getting an obscene amount of shine... just to share what my common d.spatulatha is up to these days... « Last Edit: 28 Jul, 2007, 13:09 by tarence »Link to Post - Back to Top Loggedhongrui Advisor - CP member is offline CP addict Joined: Jul 2007 Gender: Male Posts: 467 Location: Mandai, Singapore Re: some Drosera pictures « Reply #3 on 30 Jul, 2007, 10:41 »i've been growing CPs for about 14months now. right now, only the D. filiformis and D. intermedia are getting full sun the whole day. all the pygmies are under shelter, but they do get bright light for most of the day and only after 3pm do they get the full blast of the evening sun. the D. adelae has not flowered for me, it was previously with the filiformis and intermedia but i've since moved the pot to where the pygmies are. while the D. adelae can take full sun, it doesn't like the rains too much. The red of the D. adelae has faded and now its only a bit more pinkish than yours. Link to Post - Back to Top Loggedlooking for different forms of N. ampullaria, N. rafflesiana and N. xhookeriana.
