Need Help... On my Drosera.
Hello. Actually this thing happen for quite sometime already be now it's getting serious. My D. Paradoxa and D. Capensis (Tyipcal) attack by some tiny white colour insect. It stick at My Drosera later the plant start to dry and if i ignore it it will die. I've try to clean up by soaking with water to make the insect gone. But it's not working. 1 week later it come back. Does anyone have facing this problem before or and thing i can do to kill the insect without harm my Drosera? Please advice. Thank you...

Re: Need Help... On my Drosera.
Think they are either mealy bugs or white flies. Droseras are sensitive tho chemical so systemic chemical cannot be used. Had an attack on my cynoches and other plants last couple of months. I did what you did, remove them with tweezer. Took an additional step. Using cotton bud, I dap them with hair conditioner.
Have to look into the life cycle of these stuff when I get into office. Update this post then.

Re: Need Help... On my Drosera.
Pisces,
CO2 is right but not everyone has a cylinder at home. But you are RIGHT, I never tot of that, what dumb dumb I am. Check for ants. I have notice ants feeding from mealy bugs secretions. Here have a read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mealybug Some people call them ant cows. The diazinon mentioned in the article is dangerous. So before considering chemical options, have a read here https://archive.petpitcher.net/resource-a...est_repellent/
