some 'ugly' plants
It has been a long time since i've post pics.Well here they are.Ugly plants compared to some expert's plants here but...
Left to right: lowii x campanulata,veitchii x eymae,truncata x trusmadiensis. ventricosa-red x (inermis x bongso) Basal: xGothica The albos and the mirabilis 'Chumpon red': Group shots Viking 'very vigorous' Bellii (after 1 year of suffering due to infection and growing tip chewed of by rabbit) 1 foot amp producing big basal pitchers Very vigorous and nice colouration on viking x coccinea (latest pitcher) Hope you enjoyed it.

Ali,
Did I see it right, you have a shallow tank with pebbles and shells that you use as a water tray? Please be informed that those shells might leach out calcium and other minerals that might not so good for neps and other CPs. Might make the water hard. Nice collection. Wow how did a rabbit get to your Bellii? Pet Rabbit?

guys,
The pitcher in ventricosa-red x (inermis x bongso) hardly lasts for two weeks.I know this has something to do with the humidity but is there a way to keep them last longer? Really hate them to just dry away like that but the viking are also growing together with it but the first pitcher also haven't dry yet so how come?

Rob,
They don't dry up prematurely,They develope and opens nicely but they dry up quickly after opening.

So...you didnt grow them? You bought them?
Anyway, I really like the hookawhatever. I need to get some interesting neps. I only have nep venstosica, and its pitifully slow growing. |
