Josh,
In your blog where you posted pictures of N. rafflesiana in that location, were there hybrids with ampullaria or maybe mirabilis or gracilis? I noticed the pictures of the N. rafflesiana you took has frill tendrils. That's kinda cool! Do share with us more of your trips to the wild.

Thanks for the info. Didn't realised the raff x mira var echi as the peristome was not wide like the parent plant. Perhaps the dominant genes came from the raff parent.
