Well, as usual - that N. amp was growing out in the back where I hadn't seen (or messed with) it in months! Not sure if its just age or if something in my conditions just reached the trigger point but all my amps are starting to form nice basals now.

Athena, I always wonder why we don't have more female members!

Ermm naughty naught.....Well not to sound weird but sadly i have thought of that..Anyways back to those beautiful amps....Did you do anything to induce that or did it grew out naturally?Does your amp vine produce pitchers on its leaves?

Yeah Wait till you see my photo of the northiana pitcher, Zz actually asked me to remove it from my plants folder & label it adult material!

Ampullaria seems to love making basal rosettes when ignored. All my amps. have rosette now except for the giant form.

Any new germination?
