Re: My Sarra need some ID
The first 2 are purpurea hybrids. They might contain anything from flava to alata. The 3rd seems to be a flava and the last is a purpurea.

Re: My Sarra need some ID
no 1: s.xcatesbaei
no 2: s. purpurea var purpurea(if im not wrong IDing) no 3: s.flava for sure, usually var rugelli.look at the neck under the lid, do you see a spot reddish color? no 4: s. purpurea var burkii/venosa??(still confuse between this two variaton. maybe venosa) Last edited by kepikimut; 28th April 2009 at 09:52 PM. |

Re: My Sarra need some ID
1. most likely catesbaei
2. purpurea var purpurea 3. flava 4. purpurea venosa (not too sure of burkii though) Dormancy period should be at least one month, better two months. Your S. catesbaei need more sunlight to show the colour. Newly grown green pitchers indicated insufficient of sunlight. Last edited by TS; 1st May 2009 at 06:23 PM. |
