Default Paph niveum

Just opened a few days ago. I love this cute little species..

I see some are heavily speckled with purple dots around the centre of the lips. Could it be a cultivar of niveum?

kit, niveum should bloom at least once a year, preferably twice a year if strong and multi-growth. Any less then your culture is not optimum... I grow mine hanging in a 4-inch plastic pot, medium: charcoal, limestone + fernroot and sandy soil..Grown half-shaded although niveum can take quite bright sun too...

Andy, niveum does differ in the spotting around the lip, but mostly its just fine purple speckles. If larger spots, then you might be referring to similar species like paph godefroyae, angthong or bellatulum..
