« Reply #2 on May 2, 2007, 4:22pm » You could be rite, I got it from Malesiana.....very very slow growing...it`s about 2 years since, but still looks like a baby. But well, I`m more into slow growing nepenthes like n.truncata & this, at least they won`t reach the climbing stage so fast...or mebbe no climbing stage at all....

« Reply #3 on May 2, 2007, 4:34pm » Yup, its hard for cultivated neps to grow vigorously as they are in the wild. But at least like u mentioned, it will reach the climbing stage slower. Its even easier for us to take care of them, especially those who have space constraint.

It looks like quite a few of us are having problems with truncata. What's the problem on your plant? Mine is always rust spot fungus and gnarl leaves due to pest problems. The fungus attack most when I place it outdoors under sun and rain.
