Hi edward. Welcome to Petpitcher. Be careful of the 'venom' of CPs. Once they 'poison' you there's no cure. Never mind if you don't have much plants. It will grow. I started here with a N. x ventrata only. BTW you don't need to type your whole address for your location.

Hi Edward

Welcome to the forum.Actually don't have to put your location that detailed but its fine. One of the first time i heard people in KL starting wif sarrs and VFTs instead of a nep since neps are more common around our areas. So where you got your plants??

Hi Edward,

Just wondering how you got to know about this place. I think you're better than a pure newbie as you even know the name of your Sarra. Great start!

I would also like to officially welcome you to the wonderful world of CPs. Hope you'll benefit from the discussions by our CP buddies here.

Thank you everyone. Erm......never mind of my address. I'll keep that in mind.

I bought my flytrap about one and a half month ago. My friend in my school has CPs and I got interested. My plant was divided from his mother plant. Now my plant is growing well in a 3 inches pot. My flytrap is pretty small, only 4 cm in diameter, largest leaf is less than 1 cm. Currently, I'm having a problem with it, everyone may refer to the dionaea section to see whats the prob.

As for my s. purpurea, I only got it last thursday. Largest pitcher 6-7 inches tall. Growing fine for the moment.

thanks david for the compliment. i made a huge research since I got my CPs. You don't want to know what my parents said when i researched on CPs..........

well, i may be getting some CP seeds soon. Not confirmed what plant but may be pings, darlingtonia, drosera and more sarracenias. By the way, do any of you know where to buy CP soil? I seem to have a problem with finding the soil.

I hope I can learn from all of you! Soon, i'll be a CP expert! REARGHHH!!! hehehe, joking........
