Default Jewels in the forest

This forest held some of the most bizarre ampullaria that i ever visited. Pitchers are huge and often some display dual colours. without further explanation here are the pics. comments most welcome.

Hi Robert

Wow those Amps are as big like my coffee mug! Seems like the freshly opened pitchers are those with green lips. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

some freshly open pitchers are green and later develop the red on the peristome but there are some that bear the red soon as they unfold.

Wow, nice shots. Good size and nice coloration.

Are the deformed amp pitchers restricted to just one individual plant and all the pitchers are formed this way??
