Nepenthes albomarginata tend to trap more termites than ants if according to this journal.

Today I'm going thru some older posts and I saw your comments.

I think I understand that albo doesn't attract termites to your house but instead it attracts what is around the surroundings. If your house has termites, it will be the first to be attracted to the pitcher's white ring. Ants and terminates will be attracted to eat the tissues on the white ring and some will fall into the cup and R.I.P. If you see that some cups does not have white rings anymore, it means that it has alot of insects inside the cup.

This is the only nep (if not mistaken) that sacrifices its tissue(from the white ring) to attract insects.
