Great find, but next time PLEASE do NOT dig up the entire plants roots and all! Take a few cuttings and/or harvest some seed. The original plants will recover and the population will remain intact. Besides, the wild plants could carry disease and parasites such as nematodes that can harm other plants in your collection. - Rich

Son's find is actually an incredible, fantastic, wonderful, exciting and amazing find! This plant just may be the real N. thorelli, which had been considered to be extinct due to habitat destruction until now! In time, he and others will learn how to collect just cuttings and seed from these populations unless the site is doomed to destruction in the very near future. Thank goodness for obervant people like Son! Well done! - Rich
