i'm waiting my sarra 4 month got flower soon... so happy ...

Cute. Sarra flowers are way more pretty than neps. My minor hybrid has 2 flowers.

pitcher plants should not flower unless they are still in growing season...if thats the case do you give you pitcher plants dormancy in the late spring?? cut it off

most ppl i see from malaysia are still growing there pitcher plants. They need there dormancy from october through march..no exceptions. its all right if you put them in the fridge for dormancy, but if your letting them still grow, continue to flower, you will have a pretty poor plant come this spring.

I think it should be okay to let it flower as there are no seasons in Malaysia. Just make sure the plant rests once a year. My purpurea seems like it's going dormant while my s. minor hybrid are flowering. Confusing weather.

i have my flava and purpurea venosa in dormancy but the purpurea hybrid, farhamii, mitchelliana and juthatip soper are still pitchering despite the daily pouring rain in the island. the current weather is very confusing and harsh for them.
