sarracenia...they can take sunlight up to 47 degree celcius, and will not die by over water, just do not fertilize it unless you already got a lot of experience on it and use less nutrient medium as medium ....me got s. chelsonii as my first plant, now still growing nice in my place...hehe

Re: hi. im a newbie from melaka, m'sia.
I would say Sundew is the easiest cp! May be you can try Drosera burmannii. Just need full sun and water tray!

Welcome to Petpitcher. In my opinion, nepenthes are the easiest to grow, since they are native here. Just select the appropriate species. N. x ventrata is a good newbie plant.

Yes! You got the point! If you can't provide full sun. Nepenthes is the best cp to start.

Re: hi. im a newbie from melaka, m'sia.
lim, sorry for asking, just wanna know if drosera like burmannii, padaroxa and intermediate will be okay if they grow on place which will receive direct sunlight from 12 to 3pm? and can they still alive if the soil too dry? and me just got one intermediate from my friends, but the new leaves that grow out seems shorther than old leaves, do it okay?

Re: hi. im a newbie from melaka, m'sia.
I recommend Nepenthes as won't die easily and it's easy to acquire Allen, Droseras can take full sun like sarracenia and dioneae
