Default Nep.xIndah = ?

Hi guys,

Was wondering what are the parents of this plant?

MT describes it as ventricosa x spathulata where the hybrid has markings.
Both parents does not have markings.

Pics:

Ventricosa
Pic from MT
Spathulata

I suspect it as ventricosa x northiana. (northiana)

Any comments?

Thanx!

Hi Ali,
Juliana from MT told me that their 2nd clone batch have the spots turned inside out, she said TC plants will sometime do that. Any TC expert here can confirm that?

i was just wondering about that!! you see, i have a N. indah from many years ago and it was spotted with red all over, just like the picture MT showed. then, i just ordered a new one from MT and this time it is like a N spathulata, with some small red dots inside the pitcher. no markings at all on the outside. i suspected the current one they sent me is the real N Indah. the one in the picture is completely different from the current one in circulation. a bit annoyed that i got a different plant from the pic. the current N Indah is getting quite common.

i seriously doubt the plant can mutate so much, i think they are 2 completely different hybrids. some sort of mixup.
