i dont think that hurts the plant.i have some too on my VFTs seedling pot but they do nothing bad so far but it looks gross.just pluck it off with your fingers nor spoon.

If they are adult plants,they should be fine.However, you have to beware if they are young plants as i had lost some young dionaea and byblis seedlings due to fungus.
