No I haven't put ice on them. I am just going to put them on the floor of my glass house. I have spoken to a lot of other people that grow them here and that is what they do. I just water from the top each day and if the forecast is really hot I put a botte of water in the fridge and use that to keep the roots cool.

Marvin, don't forget that strath stays in AUSTRALIA. It is cooler there than here, so he does not need to worry about the temperature there.
