Re: October Competition - NEPENTHES
That N. rafflesiana x thorelii is growing nicely. Size, quality and quantity of pitchers make the plant looks "wow".
N. gracilis x rafflesiana bonzai!!! That is nice. N. hookeriana is growing nicely!!!

Re: October Competition - NEPENTHES
I will be straight to the point. Please forgive me if I seems to be too "frank"
Entry 7 : I always like the idea of bonzai nep. This is one of the good example on how a nep bonzai should be. Plant is healthy and well groomed. The whole composition is a bit "off" due to the size of the nep, result would probably be better if use a small stature nep like N. gracilis or etc. Entry 9 : Well grown plant. If owner can take time pruning off the dry leaves and pitchers, the whole plant will look evern better. Entry 13 : Healthy plant with lots of pitcher not surprising with N. hookeriana. Owner took the time to properly groom the plant before taking pitures. Entry 14 : A well grown vigorous hybrid from Thailand. The whole composition is just nice and it's properly groomed. Well done !! Entry 17 : Plant probably not in suitable growing condition as there's only 1 small pitcher. The flowering might also be caused by stress that also caused from the lack of pitchers. Entry 20 : A well grown Intermediate ~ H/L nep with pitchers on every leaves.

Re: Nepenthes Competition POLL
This is to inform members that Entry 7 has been removed from the competition as the entry is from a member who has violated the Trading Terms and Conditions of the forum on a few counts. This has just came to my attention after the entry was posted.
