Oh yeah seeds are hard to find in M'sia..have to buy from overseas...well mine dunno what happen all except two of the baby Vft got burnt, all leaf turn black.Delicate.LoL but you can try, make you more caution when handling plant and not suddenly stamp on themI'm wuite clumsy that's why.Good luck on finding your Vft

Hope I'm not too late. Welcome to Petpitcher. Almost all CPs(carnivorous plants) can be grown in Malaysia. Some are just harder, but not impossible. VFTs are very slow and fragile while still seeds. And germinating them can be hard. It's better to buy from other members.

BTW the thing around picesillim's VFT is Long fibered sphagnum moss(LFS). It is a type of moss that is used as a medium for most carnivorous plants.(I grow all mine in LFS). Both live sphagnum and dried sphagnum can be used.(live ones can be hard to find and maintain).

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions.

Hello and welcome.
I agree with the rests. For new grower, I recommend a mature plant to start with. It takes a while for seeds to grow to decent size plants. Along which, many things could go wrong that result in frustrations. Mature plant can tolerate some mistakes... That is good to learn what's best for VFT in your surroundings. Enjoy!!
