k dudes vote for it!which do u prefer to use as a media for ur CPs.
k let me go first...i prefer Peat Moss more bcoz in terms of repotting, its easy.just shake off the plant and the peat will break down unlike sphagnum moss it will get tangled around the roots and u might break some roots while removing the sphagnum moss give ur answer and reason.thanks :D

I prefer sphagnum moss because it's easier to find here.

I use sphagnum, never used peat moss before. Either way, both break down really fast after 1 year. Plants that were sitting at the top of the pot will sink down to about halfway or more while I'm away... I prefer cocopeat too, but not easy to find where I live..

yes by ur facts i also prefer sphagnum moss and from what i observe, vft hard to get root rot on sphagnum moss but only 1thing.repotting it is hard.it gets tangling round the roots and u might or will break a few strands of roots on the plant especially VFT,Some drosera, and few more plants that have root similar to VFT.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as one or the other, because one is better for some CP species and the other is good for others.
I would never recommend peat moss for Nepenthes for example.

topic too general, so cann't really make a choice, for some like drosera, vft and ping, i use black silica sand, burn soil, old sphagnum moss, or a mix, nep depending on species oso, so very hard to justify an answer
