Hi Arvin

Thanks for the comments.....When u said 'saw' you mean sow right? Anyways all my individual potted vikings are in LFS and lots of perlite..My normal mix..As for the crowded viking seedlings which i dun have enough pots and soil currently to repot i use peat as you can see its black..

Oh yeah 1 of my biggest viking seedlings had its growing tip burned off but then came back through a dormant node..To my suprise it also produced a basal...AT 4CM IN SIZE!!

Hi Kent,

Very nice seedlings, it would be great to know its parents of N. Viking seedlings. I hope to see mature pitchers in future. Where do you get those seeds? Do you breed it by yourself?

Cheers,
Pattarawut

Yes my apologies I meant "sow". Thanks for the info, I'm not sure if I should go back experimenting with peat moss again. You never sow them in LFS?

It would be nice if someone can shed light on why we get black growth tips, but for some reason we still can't figure out if it's humidity or some kind of pest or disease, but at least for you it bounced back! Oh a few times I would actually cut off the black growth tip, and sometimes the plant will produce a new tip from a node or sometimes it dies! I think depends on the size of the plant.

Aphos..I got those seeds from a member..

Marvin..Thanks...When they grow bigger u can have some Now to small

cbk..Yes from wanakorn

Arvin...I got so many seeds so i sowed them into 3 pots. 2 of them in LFS 1 in peat.. I gave some away..I use the low quality peat moss which i can get for RM4 per packet..My N.Hirsuta is also in almost pure peat moss and i have to control watering or not it might start to rot which it almost did the last time..Now its back and pitchering again
