Default A cry for.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone

Well few months back i got a N bical from Robert........Came in preety good conditions and 1 pitcher bare root......That pitcher now has become cirspy dry but its shape still remains....weird........

Anyways it took about 1-2 weeks for the bical to start showing a little signs of growth and then after a while it just took off.....with a big leaf......measuring around 20cm or 8" which is way bigger than all the other leaves...It also has a nice looking light brown tendrill and and after that growth just stoped!!........Well technically not stoped cos i can see a new small little leaf forming under the new leaf......But the speed of its growth like suddenly stoped.....not as fast as it was forming the new leaf..

I grow it at the bottom of the rack which is considered the darkest part of the whole rack considering it is covered by N miranda....But it still has a little direct sun some time of the day......This is a pic was where i put it when i just got my rack which is the red circle but now its at the yellow circle for some time already.

Heres the pic

Well can anyone help me out on this????Any of the sifu???

Ken

ken, since it was already well rooted and acclimatised to your environment, placed it in brighter part around the house. what media are you using?

I think you should give it more sunlight. It must be unhappy without enough sun........

Well, bical take a long time to settle.Just give it more time.If it found something not suitable,it will stop growing. The bical pitcher is thick, thats why the shape stays same although dead.Did u feed the bical anything?Last time i just feed my bical 1 dot of small fish pellet and a week later the whole pitcher and leaf gone black.

bical takes more time to adaptation.
mine start pitchering after 6-8 months.and only make 2-3 leaves.
you have to be patient.
dont move and dont disturb the root.

Just be patient it will grow... try giving it more direct sunlight... as long as the stem is firm then you got nothing to worry just be patient.... oh not to scare you or anything a friend of mine bicalcarata stopped pitchering once... and took 2 years before it starts to learn making new pitchers... not so sure what happened though i never asked...
