May I address you as Aaron?

Once pitcher dies/broken off from its tentrils, the leave cannot regrow another replacement pitcher.

New pitcher will form with every new leaf if the condition is right.

With regard to cutting, if you like to, just cut the pitcher off leaving the leaf alone to photosynthese.

Hope this helps.

You're welcome.

Why not introduce yourself in the introduction section then post your growlist in the growlist section. I recon many members want to welcome.

Hope your stay in this forum will be a happy one.

Aaron as Bactrus said, if the pitcher is cut or if the tip of the tendril is cut a pitcher will not regrow, but keep the leaf, just cut the tendril off near the tip of the leaf.

Oh, don't closely watch the developing tendril and pitcher, your laser vision will burn it hahahaha! What I mean is that if you keep looking at the developing pitcher everyday, it will seem like it takes a long time to develop, sometimes more frustrating if it stops developing. So my suggestion is to just leave it alone and maybe inspect once a week
