Balcony grown Cephalotus - two different forms
Recent growing conditions
Temperature range: 25C to 35C Humidity range: 35% to 80% Light range: Bright shade to several hours of direct sunlight in the afternoon Clone A, March'09  Clone A, May'09 (with camera flash)    Clone A, May'09 (under FL for comparison of the actual colour under different lighting)     Leaf stalks are also colouring up.

Another form, grown under similar conditions. It does not colour up as readily but gives larger pitchers.

Cindy! Each time you post pictures of your cephs, they seem to be getting more and more beautiful and getting bigger. You've sharpen your cultivation skills for these beauties to the maximum.
It would be great if I can grow them like yours.

Thanks everyone. I have not been looking at them much lately and was truely amazed at the rate of growth since March when I compared the photos. Apparently, they are really happy with the recent weather - rain storm in the morning followed with scorching sun in the late afternoon.
These two plants have got great potential...I received them as rhizome cuttings last November. Sometimes when I look at them I start wondering...either they will grow so well that I'll have to repot them soon by smashing the pots...or they might die from the famous sudden-death disease.

wow! although i am a newbie here and had been browsing this website for days only, i found out that you have a great specimen there and nice potting style! mind to share where you obtained the rhizome from?
