Default White scale or Mealy Bugs.

Hi

I have a bad outbreak of what appears to be white scale or Mealy Bugs on a couple of my Nepenthes. Do you know of something with low toxicity that can control it? I have read that wiping methylated spirits on the infected parts of the plants works. There are also some other suggestions at http://www.omnisterra.com/botany/cp/...all.d/4050.htm and http://www.nepenthesaroundthehouse.com/pests.htm .
What do you suggest?

Your help is appreciated,
Regards Richard.
