Mine is slightly different.I intend to do it with my VFT and my sarrs.

Just like my Drosera set up where all the pots are placed in trays of water, I only change the water when algae growth is bad. Other than that I just refill everytime the water reduces. So I use filtered or RO water to water them to avoid mineral build up in the water trays.

Maybe I put my drosera outside...My water tray easy dirty and algae easy growing...So I need change water twice or three time for a week....

Got a question to ask I saw ur little garden has rocks in it rite??? So what rock did u use?? I was planning to use the rocks by the roadside is that usable???Or can i use those bigger sized rocks they use in aquariums??

I use river rocks. Those that you can find in a river. Perhaps roadside rocks/stones might not be a good idea if they have road tar on them.

Well they are not black like the road..............How bout those in the fields or bushes which are not that near the road.I wasn't really thinking about the road thingy was more on the minerals there is in these rocks.

Some the green stuff is moss, it jump around via spores. Should mention a little charcoal at the bottom of the container help keep the soil sweet.
The actual 'pot' above is actually the door off a front loading washing maching!

You actually took a door of a front loading washing machine to do this?! That's creative man! So it's glass right? Just wondering can you could see the roots and traps of the utrics through the glass?

The washing machine was been dumped so I borrowed the door. The rim took couple of years to rust off. The bladders don't form next the edge and the roots either avoid or start spouting. I would have to put black cardborad around it to form bladders.
