Looka like my typical VFT was attack by scale insects
What is the yellow spots on the leaf? Is it scale insects?

It looks like some kind of bud attack. Scale attack?
Can you scrape those white thing off? If you can, it should be scale attack then.

I suggest use diluted insecticide...as for me, i use organic insecticide...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn`t. look out for it in your other plants too coz it tends to spread.

Ants will spread the scales to other plants. I use alcohol for zapping them for that one or two I see. But for worse infestation, I use Provado. Systemic insecticide. Scales are difficult to eradicate.

Use alcohol or neem oil/insecticide/soap.
Cactus, scale is also red, orange, yellow, etc. They can also have spots/dents, be waxy, large, tiny, blah blah blah. 8k different spp you know

Just remember if you use Neem Oil that is will wash off if it rains and you will have to re-apply.
