O` yes, your d.capensis typical are doing very nicely in the sun. you think yours have some heat-tolerant genes ? coz you know lah this weed tends to like cooler weather.... good work hongrui.....my fav from your drosera collection is the d.pulchella of course. « Last Edit: 4 Oct, 2007, 11:32 by tarence »Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Advisor - CP ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is offline CP addict ![]() ![]() Joined: Jul 2007 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 467 Location: Mandai, Singapore ![]() « Reply #3 on 4 Oct, 2007, 11:44 »thanks Naj, i'm mainly using a peat/perlite mix. LFS is used as a top layer for germinating seeds. the top layer of pebbles you see is just to prevent the peat/perlite mix from splashing out during heavy rains. lol @ tarence. but how heat-tolerant the capensis are, i'm not too sure as my area does have cool nights (24-25C). i'm planning to do some leaf cuttings in one or 2 month's time and spread the capensis around SG and see if they do as well. that should tell how heat-tolerant they are.
