Not expensive if you buy slings(babies). The lifespan varies among female/male. Males have shorter lifespans, more or less 2-5 years depending on its maturity rate.

Thanks, leetplayer.. I have lots of small jumping spiders as well as a couple of orb web spinners (Argiope sp) in my garden. Think that will suffice for now. Hehe.

just like leetplayer said,it is not so expensive went u buy from sling.butit also depent on what sp. u r buying.NO,i don't breed them...yet...still a newbie....hope to breed them when i mastered how to keep them...

I went there few times myself and he is not there. Later ask about it only realized when i buy from him. He can arrange meeting there if you want to buy from him.

i kept some fighting spiders when i was in 10years old +-. I believe some of us did that too...
