Thanks David for the clarification, I haven't try germinating neps from seed yet but I can see it'll be very interresting and rewarding to grow neps from seed.

Every now and then some members would have Nepenthes seeds to sell or giveaway. Check out the Market Place boards often.

The joy is in seeing a life sprout from a seed and grow into an adult plant. For me it is also the excitement of not knowing how many will germinate and grow to adulthood. So there is that suspense and hope that you get many "babies" or "pets". Kinda like fishing where you would not know what you'll get.
