During the year end, the sun doesn't shine into my growing area at all. About half of my Neps slow down in growth and some stop producing pitchers. I also have to resort to artificial lighting for my sundews.
However, the higher humidity, lower temperatures and even low light seem to be liked by some species. ![]() D. schizandra ![]() N. northiana (the one on the left is the lastest pitcher at 3.5", the one on the right is older) ![]() N. albomarginata (they never stopped producing pitchers for me year round except after flowering) ![]() From the left: N. rafflesiana 'nivea', N. (clipeata x eymae) x clipeata (below it), N.x 'Lebih' and N. alata ![]() N. hamata (these two pitchers are formed in balcony conditions 25C-30C, however the last week of hot weather in the afternoon already sent the plant into producing a smaller leaf ![]() ![]()
