David : the adult so-called red vft i got from sg buloh already had 1st & 2nd generation ****es attached. The mother plant is in bad shape. 1st generation also turning green except for the trap. 2nd generation is still splendid red, but tiny.
My fren bujangteruna`s is all in good spanking red shape. The only diff i see in the growing conditions is that his night time temp drops quite a lot as he stays in the outskirts of the outskirts. heheh, meaning it`s quite a new housing area & it`s pretty much near a lot of trees & jungles, hence the cool nite time weather. You can see mists in the early morn there.

zakhren : not all of us use broadband. or have the time to wait. we work. hence we post as fast as we possibly can to get the info across. fyi, my office pc takes quite a while ( almost 15 mins or more during peak) to download all the icons including the modify so at most times, i do not even get to see it. like rite now, i don`t even see the icon. it`s just a line where the modify icon is supposed to be.

Ah ok tarence, that's ok then. And the sg. buloh akai ryus, they may get a bit greener now but I remember when I first went there and saw the plants some had all red leaves. So them getting greener must be due to growing condition.

Btw, I saw David`s sg buloh `red` VFTs last nite. Awesome....it`s actually now red with green borders. Hahaha. Looks alien-like but awesome, wished mine was that size & healthy. The traps are as big as as i`ve seen. Wished I had brought my digicam along....howz everyone else`s doing ? I mean the so-called `red` sg buloh VFT.

Managed to take a shot of the red VFT bought from Sungai Buloh, it just don't go back to the original red colouring. Still insufficient of sun light I think. David's is nicer then mine after 16 hours of light on.

OK now, this red vft (from Sg Buloh) had gain it's maroon colour after a few weeks of intense sunlight, but the leaves and the edge of the trap are still green.

TS : how intense is intense sunlite ? whole day ? mine gets almost all day & i think it`s slightly redder than yours...not so much green parts. bujangteruna`s is similiar to David`s indoor red vfts but bujang grows them outdoors.

Dunno lah TS.....yours already getting more sunlite than mine. My traps are not as big as yours tho. Mebbe when it`s smaller, the red colouration is more intense. Did you see David`s before they went into `dormancy` ? they were uprite & very large & very red. But his doesn`t count lah.....coz the conditions are so diff from ours....

Tarence, no, I didn't split the baby coz I see the plant growing so nicely, don't wanna disturb it. But the recent weather did make my VFTs to confuse again.... the growth of some VFTs stagnant and regrow repeatedly!!! Anything happened to you guys' out there.
