N.rajah of the north
Mount Kinabalu from a distance
Kundasan, ½ hr after passing by the HQ of Kinabalu Park , a favorite stop over for locals and visitors offering for sale tropical fruits, temperate vegetables and local handicrafts. Some of Kinabalu’s peaks as view from Mesilau Park early morning temp and humidity at the park About 10.00am, sun was fierce but the air was cooling Tiny orchid and others Ferns and mosses thriving on tree trunk. …and some flowering plants. There are many more but having to kneel down most of the time for macro shots was tiring, nevertheless these are some that i take note. Probably this belonged to AV family, anyone? Close up of the flower A species of moth. There are quite a few that i simply miss. These visitors came as night falls. Rhododendron very common along the pitcher plants trail and around the Park Mesilau nepenthes trail was one of the best site to see N.rajah. There are another 3 main sites requiring long and difficult trek. The wide path, with a section cemented and the cool morning breeze makes the walk effortless. Source of mesilau river N.fusca N.burbidgeae Burbidgeae hybrid N.tentaculata N.rajah Temp., and humidity at rajah site |

Re: N.rajah of the north
WOW, GREAT PICS! Say, does it mean that the rajah is growing in a humidity level of 30%? I don't know how to read the humidity meter.
Cheers

Quote:
ken, there are many brand with different prices. Lower price range usually have a margin of error ( refer to your booklet ). A small error like ± 2% was ok for home grown plants unless a requirement for precision. Last edited by Robert; 13th June 2009 at 12:09 AM. |
