It's normal to see neps developed red coloration on their leaves on exposed to strong light, esp mirabilis due to their thin papery-liked leaves.

Nice red leaves mirabilis specimen Robert !!
The reason why I asked if it was raining or not it's because I saw sign of dry edges on the leaves and since it's a newly developed cutting, it might be due to acclimatising to the year end weather pattern (generally cooler with drier weather) that Vietnam is probably experiencing now. I think the next few leaves will slowly developed into normal leaves. N. mirabilis is tough nep... don't worry.
