DAVID your substrat is not adapted for the ping .
'in situ' just some ping grow in this substrat , the majority : temperate and mexican grow in a substrat more mineral calcareous  'in situ' the ping and the drosera grow rarely in a same environment and especially at this time they come in dormancy , no watering or just a little by capillarity to keep the substrat slightly wet but always a good air hygrometry. jeff
