Default Bare root flytrap !

Hi guy,
My friend buy some flytrap (about 14 ) but after he have it, most of them die ! what wrong with it ? How to grow new plants bare root !

Huh???Bare-root???You need to put them in medium.Stop your friend's mass Vft killing and ask him to put them in sphagnum moss!!!

Did your friend planted the VFT in sphagnum moss?
Did he keep in sunny place?
How many days did the plants take to arrive?
Did he get a lot of water?
I must know it to advice better your friend.

Tranminh,

Just keep the sphagnum moss moist, cover the pot. Should be able to root once again.

Don't throw the purportly dead ones away, might grow new plants from the brown/black leaves. I mean from the tuber. Just keep them wet. Throw them away only after a month.

Actually my friend have do a mass kill flytrap and the plants die with black leaf with rotten. I have wonder why so I ask you guy !

ask your friend to check the "dead" plant rhizome, if white rhizome still in good condition then it will grow out the new leaf very soon.
