Default Tricking a VFT

Is there a way to trick dormancy? For instance can you put them in a fridge for a week, then take it out to warm up indoors by a southern window?

Alot of growers here give their plants dry dormancy. TS woudl be able to eleborate more. Plants are placed in a shaded area and water reduced.
