the lids/tops of my serras keep going brown. is it the light? or lack of watering?? ![]() |

Sarras should be able to withstand bright direct sun provided their roots are kept wet. Which part of aussie are you from, mate?

The growing season is winding down in the southern hemisphere right now. Older pitchers are going to die off as they age and your plant gets ready for dormancy.

Thanks for the help! I live in Western Australia. About 2 hours from the home of cephalotus ^__^ (i have some of them too haha)
They say VFT and sarras can withstand the hot sun, but unfortunately it gets 40 - 45 degrees and just destroys them lol. I will post a picture ASAP. Ive changed where they sit now and they just get 2 - 3 hours of morning sun and they seem happier. |

I thought they were supposed to come out of dormancy now? Wow you mean 40 - 45 degrees celcius?(probably)

yeah it gets quite hot here. and too be honest the easiest plant ive been growing are cephs
