Thats not a problem for me, Edward. i grow my nep at the far left of the pot while I grow the sarras at the far right of the pot. I wet the soil of the VFt and Sarra while I only moisten the nep soil.

Well, If you wish to do that Aaron, then it is ok. But I prefer to grow CPs individually for the moment.

How's the seedlings, strath? Any pictures that you can share with us about them?

Ken, I grow some of my Sarra and VFT without water tray. i only water them when they are dry. Not a problem.

Hi Edward thanks for the advice i guess i won't add in a nep.........Anyways i don't even have a nep to put there.....Sundews always make a good community pot....Anyways i'll jus use my sarrs and VFT.And thanks for all the advice everyone

BTW my sarra seeds have germinated but....out of about 10 seeds only 1 germinate. It has produced 2 non carnivorous leaves. I think the darlingtonia seeds died(one day temperature 40 c.)

Edward, I will try and take a new photo this weekend and post it.

Aaron, the older the seeds get the longer they may need to germinate. Don't give up on them as they take up to two to three years. While yo probably don't want to hear that I keep my seeds for a minimum of two years to see if they germinate. If it is something that I am really after I amy keep it for up to three years.

The first leaves you refer to are called cotelydons. They are not true leaves, which is why they look different to the true leaves. These are used to supply the plant with essential energy after germination.
