Default Re: When will neps produce BASAL!!!!!

Hi...Since we're talking about basals here....I was thinking since my bical has only now 2 pitchers and its making its third one...I wonder if i can bend it....I saw a thread in terra forums where Cindy bends her bical and the dormany node grows...How long do i wait till it appears normally?? And does it harm the plant in any ways? In my experience main vines which are not doing well i cut the growing tip together with a few leaves and make a cutting (like my ventrata) Then on the stem i cut of the dormant node seems to take off and grows much better than it used to be..So just thinking if the dormant node of the bical if it appears will do better..

And also will a dormant node grow on the woodry browned stem??

Ken
